HI, I’M KARL
I’m Karl, a wedding photographer based in Fürth, where I have lived since I was six. This often underestimated city is a big part of my story. Photography has been with me since my school days, when I photographed my classmates for our graduation yearbook. Later, taking pictures of my sister’s children and my nephew at nursery rekindled that enthusiasm.
My journey into wedding photography began with friends. Photographing their weddings over ten years ago, I was drawn to all the stories that unfold in a single day. Since then, I have captured countless wonderful moments. Today I accompany couples in Fürth, Nuremberg and Erlangen and look forward to celebrating your day with the people you love.
What moves me most is the whole family coming together: a grandfather sharing an ice cream with his granddaughter, a mother shedding happy tears, and the two of you saying “I do”. The big moments and the little ones belong together. They tell your story.
Among your guests, I bring a sense of humour while staying unobtrusive with my camera. Most photographs grow naturally out of the moment. During your couple session, I offer ideas and gentle guidance. A relaxed atmosphere and a little laughter help you feel comfortable, so warm, heartfelt images can happen naturally.
An easygoing relationship and clear communication matter to me. We talk about what you care about and how you are planning your day, so you can look forward to your wedding and I know which memories mean the most to you.

01 / ENQUIRY & GETTING TO KNOW EACH OTHER
After your enquiry, we check whether your wedding date is available. During a video call, we get to know each other and talk about your plans, whether you need coverage of a civil ceremony or a longer wedding story. We discuss your wishes and the available options. Once the coverage feels right and your date is free, you can book.
02 / PLANNING TOGETHER
We go through your planned schedule during our first conversation. I note the key moments and your main contacts so I can take some pressure off you on the day. If a location needs permission for photography, I can arrange this in advance. Before your wedding, we speak again and go through the latest plans.
03 / TIME FOR YOUR COUPLE SESSION
We plan the timing and length of your couple session around your wedding day. I adapt to your schedule and offer ideas and gentle guidance. With a little humour and a relaxed atmosphere, you can feel at ease. A separate couple session on another day is also possible.
04 / ON YOUR WEDDING DAY
We have a relaxed catch up when I arrive and discuss any changes to the plan. Then I accompany you for the agreed coverage, bringing a sense of humour and an eye for moments that happen naturally. Knowing your main contacts means I can clarify many things with them, leaving you free to enjoy the day with your loved ones.
05 / FIRST PREVIEW & YOUR FINISHED PHOTOGRAPHS
You receive a first preview from your couple session within the first week, usually after two or three days. Depending on the size and scope of your wedding coverage, the complete collection is ready after two to three weeks, so you can relive your day together.
